DSG had a busy holiday season and we could not have made it through without your outstanding help. In the months of November and December over 130 volunteers contributed over 300 hours of their time to our holiday programs and services! A special thanks to our friends at Validity Screening Solutions who chose the DSG as their in-service volunteer organization for a full day of volunteering in December!

If you have volunteered at one of our events, chances are you have seen or met Marcia Phares. Marcia dedicates a lot of her time to DSG and we are so grateful for her continued service. Congratulations, Marcia and thank you for all that you do to support Individuals with Down syndrome!
Childcare Helpers Needed for Upcoming Events

The DSG holds special events/meetings for parents. We are in need of volunteers to take toys to daycare room, maintain childcare for kids with Down syndrome and sibilings, feed them, and have a fun time with all the kids while the parents are occupied at these meetings or events at the DSG center. Dress is casual. Toys and activities for the children will be provided. Please contact info@kcdsg.org to sign up!
- 4-6 Volunteers are needed on January 10th from 6:15pm- 8:30pm
Come Have FUN in FEBRUARY with 7-11 Year Olds

Come on down for a Fabulously Fun time! 6 Volunteers are needed on February 9th from 5:45-8:15 to socialize with kids ages 7-11. Kids will be eating dinner, making valentines and watching an entertaining show. Please contact Leslie@kcdsg.org for more information.
Take Flight Education Conference

2 volunteers are needed to work the following shifts at our annual education conference on January 28th. The conference will be held at the Sheraton Crown Center.
- 8am-12pm - 2 volunteers needed
- 2 Spanish Interpreters are needed to work from 8am-4:30pm
Volunteers will be working at the DSG table. Volunteers ages 16 and older, please. Contact info@kcdsg.org for more information.
